In Episode Two, we discuss the history of The Everyman Theatre in Cork, as well as the effect of the COViD-19 crisis on the theatre with Everyman Artistic Director Julie Kelleher. We also chat with Fishamble Literary Manager Gavin Kostick about productivity for artists, and some of Fishamble‘s initiatives to keep artists working. In our Art in Isolation series we hear from Dublin based, multidisciplinary artist Valentina Gaia Lops who has set out to capture the #QuarantinedOfTheWorld using Zoom in both words and video; Her project has garnered international attention while she’s been in isolation in Berlin.

We continue to work through the technical problems of running a live webcast with individuals in many different locations using Skype, Slack, and other technologies. There were a few internet glitches during this episode as it seems just about everyone likes to stream between 7pm – 8pm when our show is broadcast. We will continue to work through these issues and find other solutions as we move forward.
